We are currently recruiting for a superb new opportunity for Supply Chain Analyst with a County Clare based multinational client. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will manage production and material planning for multiple active product lines. Product lines may be both locally or remotely manufactured. You will serve as an advocate for total customer satisfaction by focusing on the customers' date requirements and communicating the requirements to the operations team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle.
2. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
3. Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
4. Manage work to predetermined metrics as well as individual, local, group, and corporate goals.
5. Partner with the procurement team to support identification and validation of material requirements and best practice inventory management and controls.
6. Interact and support several teams within operations and the business unit, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, sales, quality, and engineering.
7. Review on-time delivery reports daily.
8. Coordinate and work with Operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedules and proactively identifying and addressing issues.
9. Communicate with Customer Service on any line issues that might affect customer requirements and commitments.
10. Attend to all inquiries regarding input allocation, capacity requirements and updates, cycle time, and delivery performance.
11. Review goals, objectives, and quality standards with senior manager.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline i.e. Supply Chain/Business/Engineering and 2+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing and material planning role is preferred.
2. Applications will be accepted from candidates who may not meet the educational requirements but have equivalent industry experience as demonstrated on their CV.
3. Experience with an ERP system highly desirable.

1. Must be able to work and plan independently to achieve targeted goals.
2. Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with other employees and management.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook email and calendar, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Experience and understanding of SharePoint is an advantage.
5. The candidate should be self-motivated and eager to learn new skills; they need to be flexible, an excellent team player, and demonstrate the company’s values.
