The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food market, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and prospect potential clients
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Develop and sustain relationships with key clients
* Provide post-sales support
* Stay up-to-date on product offerings
* Educate clients on product benefits
* Contribute to new product ideas
* Create and present proposals and contracts
* Negotiate terms to secure deals
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
* Proven sales experience, preferably within the food/FMCG industries
* Thorough knowledge of the food supply chain and market dynamics
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Target-driven with a demonstrable record of meeting sales targets
* Customer-focused approach
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience of adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational and time management skills
