Overview of Planning & Environmental Consultant Role

We are a leading international engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm with a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US. Our team of over 3,500 people delivers complex, capital projects in various sectors.

* Involvement in preparation and management of development consents, compliance and planning strategy for large scale projects.
* Participation in design process for layout, master planning and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
* Management of interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and stakeholders.
* Liaising with County Councils, An Bord Pleanala and other statutory bodies as required.
* Minimum qualification Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline.
* Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
* Relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management/consultancy.
* Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice.
