The Sales Executive at Salthill Hotel will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target potential clients in various markets including corporate, leisure, and events.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
* Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and presentations to prospective clients.
* Negotiate and close sales contracts in line with hotel policies.
Client Relationship Management:
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
* Manage client accounts and follow up on leads and inquiries.
Market Research & Analysis:
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
* Analyse competitor activities and develop strategies to increase market share.
* Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
* Assist in the development of sales and marketing collateral.
Event Coordination:
* Collaborate with the events team to coordinate and execute events, ensuring client requirements are met.
* Participate in trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience:
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
* Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Skills:
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
