Senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager - New US Start-up

The Opportunity
Our client, a long-established global organisation and market leader in their industry, is establishing its first European operation in the Midwest region. They have engaged with us at Cpl to help recruit an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager to join them.
Job Responsibilities
* Reporting directly to the newly hired EMEA CEO, the successful candidate will be initially in a standalone HR role covering a full remit of HR duties and support for the new site and team.
* Liaising closely with the US-based HR Director on ongoing growth and development of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and delivery of new HR strategies and policies.
* Localising US HR processes for the Irish operation.
* Overseeing recruitment as the site expands, including for the HR team itself.
* Leading employee engagement and resolving queries.
* Coordinating training/L&D, HRIS, and HR data reporting.
* Comps/bens administration.
* Supporting the senior management team with their HR needs and all related duties.
Requirements
* Third-level degree or above in HR or a closely related discipline.
* 5-6+ years of HR experience at a senior Generalist/BP or Manager level.
* Prior experience from a start-up type environment would be a major advantage but is not essential.
* Experience from the pharma, medical devices, or related sectors would be an advantage.
* High-level inter-personal skills and proven ability to multi-task and lead projects.
* Strong IT skills and understanding of HR legislation.

* This position is a permanent role with a salary range depending on candidate experience.
* Expected to range up to approximately €80k base salary initially.
