Job Objectives
We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic professionals who share our passion for care and have a proven record of leading a multifaceted in-house team to deliver safety-driven, quality-focused services while meeting regulatory objectives.
The successful candidate will hold a senior management position and will be responsible for leading the quality and safety teams and supporting the service divisional directors and their departments.
This will involve:

* Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our services.
* Monitoring departmental KPIs, driving performance, and achieving targets.
* Setting and overseeing budgets and developing individual regulation, quality and safety department services.
* Staying informed on all healthcare-related quality and safety regulations, standards, and national policies, ensuring full compliance.
* Thinking about Nua's future and making intelligent continuous improvement recommendations.
Skills Requirement
A Master's-level qualification in a healthcare-related discipline is essential.
A management qualification is preferred.
We require:
* In-depth knowledge of regulation requirements related to HIQA, the MHC, and HSA compliance, with experience managing inspections and associated quality improvement activities.
* Proven leadership and management experience within a large organisation in either the public or private sector.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong experience in internal compliance, risk management, auditing, and governance.
You will need:
* Strong analytical skills: dynamic interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment in making critical decisions and recommendations.
* Exceptional organisational skills, motivated, initiative-taker.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong IT proficiency.
* Dedicated, dependable, and adaptable in approach to work.
* A full clean driver's licence.
