Job Description
FRS partners with a renowned business that plays a significant role in supplying hospitals and laboratories worldwide with life-changing equipment for medical diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare journal entries to support financial statement processing according to US GAAP and corporate policies.
* Account reconciliations for balance sheet valuation.
* Detailed margin variance analysis and investigation of differences.
* Contribute to the monthly close, ensuring completion of accounts and submissions to head office.
* Product costing calculations.
* Ensure adherence to corporate policies, maintaining consistency and standardization in cost accounting.
* Key role in process improvement projects and continuous finance function enhancement.
* Provide detailed commentary, modeling, and analysis on customer pricing.
* Business partnership with functions across the site.
* Deliver senior management with timely and comprehensive reporting of income statements and balance sheets, including risk and commentary.
* Preparation of Statutory Accounts, Regulatory, and Revenue returns for final review.
* Liaise with tax teams on transfer pricing.
* Collaborate with external and internal auditors as required.
* Contribution to other commercial and financial projects where relevant.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 5+ years of cost accounting experience.
* SAP and IFRS experience are advantageous.
* Self-motivated, analytical, and commercial mindset.
* Able to lead from the front, develop teams, and drive change implementation.
