Job Description:
The Compliance Monitoring Function is a critical component of our regulatory obligations. As the successful candidate, you will lead this function for SEI Investments - Global Fund Services, Ltd. (GFSL) and SEI Investments - Depositary and Custodial Services (Ireland) Limited (D&C).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer in conducting, documenting, and reporting on compliance monitoring activities.
- Undertake compliance monitoring reviews, including thematic and desk-based periodic reviews.
- Ensure the completeness of evidence gathered and record keeping associated with testing.
- Produce high-quality findings and conclusions from compliance monitoring activities.
- Track and report on remedial actions and guide management in implementing necessary improvements.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports to the Board of Directors of the Irish regulated entities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in compliance monitoring, internal audit, or working in a Compliance function, preferably in the Fund Administrator/Depositary sector.
- Experience working with fund administrator and depositary regulatory requirements is preferable.
- Good technical abilities and knowledge of applicable regulations (UCITS, AIFMD, SI10 ).
- Familiarity with investment and regulatory issues facing the Irish Funds industry and significant investment industry experience.
- People and project management experience.
- Professional qualification (ACOI or other relevant discipline) would be preferable.
