This is a fabulous opportunity to support the Small Molecule part of the site working with Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS).
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Have a deep understanding of the laboratory model and a thorough knowledge of the process control strategy and its implementation in the manufacturing environment.
* Provide technical support for the commercialization and technology transfer of new processes into the operations/manufacturing environment.
* Be the expert on the process chemistry and overall molecule control strategy, including development history, impurity generation, and rejection etc. Ensure maintenance of control strategy through lifecycle.
* Transferring new processes/technology to plant/site.
* Be familiar with and capable of executing a robust lab model for new or existing products.
* Build technical expertise in the area of responsibility and demonstrate strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ensure the process is in-control, capable, compliant, and maintained in a validated state through continual monitoring.
* Support busy production environment by raising deviations and leading root cause analysis on manufacturing issues.
* Lead and raise change controls to support a busy production environment.
Education:
* Minimum MSc in Chemistry (Organic/Synthetic/Medicinal/Analytical).
* 3 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
· Advanced MS Office Suite
Experience:
* Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork.
* Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to take on different job tasks.
* Self-motivated/proactive approach with the ability to work without close supervision.
* Commitment to meet deadlines.
* Good planning and organisation skills essential.
* Excellent attention to detail, be able to use your own initiative and be able to communicate/collaborate effectively at all levels.
