We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our clients on the Cork / Kerry border. You will be tasked with managing the financial function and providing support to the Managing Director. This is a fixed term 11 month contract – Maternity Leave cover contract to end December 2022.
Overview of the Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of annual and monthly financial accounts (including full balance sheet reconciliations) for submission to Group Financial Controller based in Head Office.
2. Credit Control (accounts receivable and payable) to include dealing with queries, reconciliations, and debtors collection.
3. Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and responsibility for cash flow management.
4. Preparing and monitoring of the annual operating budget and reporting performance against agreed KPI’s.
5. Preparing projections and business plans.
6. Completing Grant Claim Forms and necessary documentation attached to such claims.
7. Involvement in annual insurance renewal process and liaising with Brokers on the same.
8. Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll.
9. Review of monthly employee expense claims.
10. Costing of products and costing methods.
11. Maintain and file company HR Documentation.
12. Filing and payment of all Statutory Returns to include CSO returns, VIES, Intrastats, RCT, and VAT.
13. Liaise with external company Auditors.
14. Offering advice on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
15. Ad hoc general accounting tasks as and when required, considered necessary by the Managing Director.
16. Will need to be able to work on own initiative and be involved with input into managerial decisions.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified and have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Industry. Salary is open to negotiation and based on experience. For full information please email me directly.
