Key Purpose of the Role:
The Product Trainer will lead the development and delivery of engaging and effective training programs on Tate's products, initially focused on ceilings, with plans to expand across the full product range. This role will ensure that internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers across the EMEA region are equipped with thorough product knowledge, helping drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The position is essential to shaping the future of our organization by providing top-tier product knowledge and training to our stakeholders across EMEA.
Based in our dynamic and diverse Head Office in Dublin, this role includes administering training programs, tracking learner progress, and reporting on training effectiveness. Additionally, the role requires conducting face-to-face training sessions at customer sites as needed, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and engaging product knowledge to enhance their experience with our solutions. This opportunity is pivotal in supporting Tate's global expansion as we strengthen our partnerships in cloud hosting and AI, ensuring our stakeholders have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development & Delivery:
1. Design and implement comprehensive product training programs across the EMEA region, utilising both in-person and online modalities, with a particular emphasis on enhancing training engagement for customers using the Online LMS.
2. Simplify complex technical details into clear, engaging learning experiences tailored to a variety of audiences.
3. Ensure that all training materials comply with Tate's brand and marketing standards and meet local market needs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, commercial, customer service and marketing) to gather insights and continuously improve training content.
2. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure their training needs are met and their product knowledge is maximised.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
1. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs by setting and tracking KPIs (e.g., customer satisfaction, knowledge assessments, etc.).
2. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on training impact and progress.
Industry & Product Knowledge:
1. Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and product innovations to keep training programs up-to-date.
2. Act as a product expert, ensuring that all stakeholders understand Tate's product offerings, benefits, and value propositions.
Travel:
1. Be available to travel across the EMEA region to deliver on-site training, with up to 20% travel required.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Proven experience in product training or a similar role, preferably within the data centre, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
2. Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
3. Proven experience working with LMS platforms, including content creation and management.
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in delivering in-person and virtually training.
5. Willingness to travel across the EMEA region.
6. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
