Master Data Analyst
Location: Dublin 22 (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)
Contract: 6-month initial contract
As a Master Data Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data pricing system/file data. Working closely with the Commercial Department and reporting to the Head of Business Analysis, you will be key in maintaining and updating price files, analyzing data, and improving data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Price File Management – Request, receive, and process the most up-to-date price lists from suppliers.
2. Data Comparison & Analysis – Use Excel templates to compare supplier price lists with our database (Promise), identifying discrepancies and necessary updates.
3. System Updates – Prepare and import batch files into the database to reflect price changes, ensuring data integrity.
4. Error Handling – Review errors and exceptions reports, resolving any issues that may arise during the data import process.
5. Data Maintenance – Ensure all system data is accurate, performing daily monitoring, updates, and clean-ups as required.
6. New Product Setup & Promotions – Manage new product entries, promotional data reviews, and data quality control before importing to the system.
7. General Support – Assist in customer and admin queries related to data accuracy and system updates.
Requirements:
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation).
* Experience with data management tools (SQL, Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and adaptability.
