Qualified Compliance Associate - Permanent - Cork - Hybrid
We are working with Ireland's leading healthcare provider to exclusively recruit a Compliance associate to join their business. The main objectives of this role is to maintain their Compliance framework with regard to new projects, be the point of contact for compliance and monitor filing regulations of the business.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious Qualified Accountant that has 2-3 year experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
1. Advice and support the business in relation to Central Bank, Data Protection and HIA Compliance.
2. Perform analysis on new rules and regulations in relation to the Central Bank, Data Protection and HIA Compliance and the impact on the business.
3. Collaborate with areas of the business to develop reporting and system enhancements.
4. Engage with key stakeholders with all relevant areas to manage and implement key compliance initiatives and controls.
5. Ensuring that the Compliance Framework is maintained and updated with business requirements, new business functions and processes.
6. Ensuring that second line monitoring is carried out across all business areas in accordance with annual compliance plan.
7. Prepare compliance reporting in a timely manner on a monthly basis for Senior management and on quarterly basis for the Audit & Risk Committee and Board.
8. Ensure that the company is compliant with Anti Money Laundering (AML), including arranging Director training, and preparing and updating policies and procedures in this regard.
9. Keeping up to date on emerging legislation and industry impacts.
Requirements
10. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
11. 2-3 years experience with Risk/Compliance/Audit
12. Working knowledge of regulatory framework surrounding insurance and the Central Bank of Ireland requirements
13. Knowledge of health insurance products and relevant legislation desired.
