InterContinental Dublin are currently recruiting for a Group Reservations Co-Ordinator to join our team.

The Group Reservations Co-Ordinator is responsible for handling & processing all aspects of individual and group room reservations.
They make reservations, process payments and confirm arrangements. Agents need to have a pleasant phone voice and a professional but friendly attitude.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:
1. To manage all Group Block Space – Leisure Groups / Ad Hoc Corporate Groups / MICE Groups
2. To respond to all incoming inquiries for groups, and to get accurate and detailed quotations on timely basis from Director of Revenue
3. To be knowledgeable in the operation, functionality and standards required in using OPERA reservations system.
4. To input Group/Block Reservations into OPERA reservations system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
5. To ensure strict chasing / follow up / contracting procedures are in place and adhered to.
6. To ensure full and accurate communication with all relevant departments on group issues and to attend Pre-Con meetings as required.
7. To ensure the Groups sheet is accurately compiled and distributed on time.
8. To maintain accurate filing systems for all Group correspondence within the department, and ensure all filing is completed daily.
9. Assist in daily duties and responsibilities of Reservations Department

14. Polished and professional demeanor when client facing.
15. Knowledge of Opera.
16. Previous experience in groups or reservations.
17. Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
18. Ability to cope well under pressure.
19. Highly motivated, and a team player.
Opera PMS system experience is essential.
This role includes working Saturdays.
