As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in the organisations success in this newly created role.
Role Overview Reporting directly to the Directors, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function.
This includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting business decision-making through accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities Overseeing and managing the full finance function of the company, ensuring efficient financial operations.
Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the Company Directors.
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Processing payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Ensuring compliance with tax, VAT, and other financial regulations.
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as required.
Identifying areas for financial improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper internal controls are in place.
Supporting senior management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
Key Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role, preferably within an SME environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
