Safeguarding, Risk and Compliance Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding, Risk and Compliance Manager to join our Executive Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in leading compliance initiatives, safeguarding members, and ensuring the highest standards in risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage organisation-wide processes for safeguarding, risk management, and HIQA compliance.
* Oversee quality management systems and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Act as a key support for safeguarding, ensuring that all Community Members are protected from all forms of abuse.
* Coordinate and provide advice on reviews of critical incidents, safeguarding, and root cause analysis.
* Lead the development and implementation of the companies Quality Management Framework, collaborating with senior management and external stakeholders.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections, setting action plans for continuous improvement.
* Drive a culture of safety, service excellence, and quality improvement across all their services.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 7 Degree in Social Care, Social Work, Health, Intellectual Disability Nursing, or a related discipline.
* Postgraduate qualification in Quality Management will be an advantage.
* Proven experience in safeguarding, quality management, or compliance within the disability sector.
* Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards, risk management, and safeguarding protocols.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* This position is subject to a six-month probationary period.
