PE Global is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a leading multi-national Telecommunications client based in Dublin. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility to extend to 24 months.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities Provide support to the Programme Manager and workstream Project Managers in directing and managing project phases and overall delivery from initiation to completion.
Collaborate with business owners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with organizational goals, engaging relevant stakeholders throughout.
Create comprehensive project plans and related documentation. Communicate project expectations, progress updates, status reports, and RAID logs clearly and promptly to team members and stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders and ensure ongoing alignment.
Coordinate contractor project meetings, prepare minutes, track actions, and create presentation materials, ensuring stakeholders receive timely updates to facilitate effective discussions.
Establish and consistently manage expectations with team members, stakeholders, business owners, sponsors, and senior management. Identify and address project dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions, clearly documenting and communicating their impact on the critical path.
Collaborate with contractors to review their project plans, ensuring dependencies, risks, and issues are identified and tracked, and that milestone delivery plans are realistic.
Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Actively manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans as needed. Conduct lessons-learned sessions and compile recommendations to assess successful and unsuccessful project aspects. Support the Programme Manager in refining best practices and tools for effective project management and execution.
Education/Experience A minimum of 57 years of post-graduate experience in project management and delivery, with a focus on telecommunications and FTTx projects.
PMI, PMP certification, or a Diploma in Project Management is required. Strong general knowledge of telecommunications, including FttH and HFC architectures. Proven experience in coordinating and scheduling work with contractors. Familiarity with managing build projects, with knowledge of GIS systems and PIA processes considered an advantage. Skilled in documenting processes, workflows, and technical requirements. Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
