Site Manager Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to work with our successful North West based Civil Engineering Contractor on a Permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring health and safety is given the highest priority in the delivery of works
* Setting out works in accordance with contract requirements before work commences
* Developing programmes with senior engineers and benchmark productivity measures for the workforce
* Communicating with foremen, gangers, workforce and sub-contractors to ensure understanding of information provided
* Maintaining comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works
* Taking off and site measures of materials to control ordering efficiently
* Completing inspection and test plans, risk assessments and method statements for controlling works
* Keeping a full and accurate daily site diary
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering & Management degree (desirable)
* Competent with all aspects of setting out and taking levels (desirable)
* Full driving licence
* 3-4 years Site Management experience within a Civil Engineering environment
