Behaviour Specialist: Full-Time Permanent Post
(37 hours per week)
We are dedicated to understanding and meeting the behavioural support needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, alongside those who support them.
Our Approach:
Our practice is guided by the Multi-Element Behaviour Support Model, a comprehensive and constructional approach of Positive Behaviour Support.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality educational and consultancy services, helping adults with intellectual disabilities lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitating Positive Behaviour Support, preferably using the Multi-Element Behaviour Support Model for assessment, plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
* Lecturing, teaching, and research in Positive Behaviour Support.
Requirements:
Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years working with adults with intellectual disabilities, including autism.
Education:
* A relevant primary degree in a health science area (e.g., psychology, nursing, therapy).
* A Masters Degree (Level 9) in a Behavioural/Psychology Related Science.
Other:
* Excellent ICT skills.
* Registration with a relevant professional body in Ireland.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland, with a clean driving license and access to a car.
