Mayo, Ireland, on a full-time permanent basis reporting to Cyber Security & Privacy Manager. JOB SUMMARY: The System Administrator will be responsible for managing our server infrastructure, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 standards, and aligning with ITIL frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a leading role on our journey towards ISO27001 accreditation, working closely with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to maintain robust security and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the cybersecurity department to align security policies.
Manage and support Microsoft 365 services
Server Management: Oversee the administration of Hyper-V environments and VMs running on MS Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
Policy Creation, Testing and Compliance: Develop, test, implement, and support policies related to Active Directory (AD), ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and ITIL standards. Use of MS In-Tune
Provide external access to 3rd Party providers, while adhering to security standards
Security and Auditing: Conduct regular security audits, manage remediation efforts, and ensure timely patching of servers.
Implement and Monitor backups as aligned with Backup and DR policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to align IT operations with business objectives and compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
Experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing environment.
Hyper-V and Virtualization: Proficiency in managing Hyper-V environments and virtual machines.
Microsoft Server: Extensive experience with MS Server MS 2016, 2019 and 2022.
Active Directory: Strong knowledge of AD management, including policy creation and compliance.
Security Standards: Familiarity with ISO27001 standards and ITIL frameworks.
Auditing and Remediation: Experience in conducting security audits and managing remediation processes.
Patching and Updates: Expertise in server patching and updates to maintain security and performance.
