Site Manager Excel Recruitment is thrilled to partner with an award-winning Irish Building and Civil Engineering Contractor in recruiting an experienced Site Manager. This permanent position is based in North Dublin, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects with a market leader. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities for Site Manager Project Coordination: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring project schedules are met. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to coordinate activities. Monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust plans to stay on track. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on status and any risks. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and lead on-site safety meetings. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure regulatory compliance. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary. Quality Assurance: Inspect all work to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Manage quality control processes, addressing defects promptly. Resource Management: Plan and manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment. Oversee material deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a positive and productive culture. Provide training and oversee on-site labour allocation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports. Communicate any risks or delays to senior management promptly. Requirements for Site Manager Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years' experience in site management or a similar role. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in construction management software, Microsoft Office, and blueprint reading. Proven organisational and leadership abilities to manage diverse teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to project changes.
