Muckross Park Hotel & Spa are currently recruiting a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in the Yew Tree Restaurant. This is a 5-star property with an established team focused on customer service of the highest standards.
Role Overview:
As a Chef de Partie, you will play an essential role in the kitchen, working closely with our Executive Chef to prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards. You will ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen reflects the quality and consistency that The Yew Tree Restaurant is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook menu items in line with company standards
2. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety
3. Maintain all required company training certificates
4. Assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring efficient service
5. Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
6. Contribute to the overall success and smooth running of the kitchen
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
2. Strong knowledge of fine dining cuisine
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and detail
4. A passion for fresh, local ingredients and modern culinary trends
5. Team player with excellent communication skills
6. Adaptable to assist with all food service production as required by business levels
7. Flexibility with work hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
