Maintenance Safety Supervisor - Pharma - Dublin - 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Ensure the highest level of compliance to all regulatory Safety requirements within the team.
2. Co-ordinate Safety related activities in the operating unit and to ensure sustained and continuous improvement in EOHSS compliance.
3. Facilitate local compliance with the Incident/Accident management system.
4. Support SAFE IM investigations by providing SME input and CAPA completion, where required/assigned.
5. Evaluate and promote a Safety Culture, embedding an intrinsically psychologically safe working environment.
6. Attend weekly SAT (Safety Action Teams) forum to provide support and focus on necessary safety related themes/topics for discussion with Technicians and Engineers.
7. Have complete oversight of area risk assessment program by ensuring non-routine tasks are identified and risk assessments are completed in a consistent and comprehensive way.
8. Facilitate all RAMS reviews and approval with EOHSS by being the focal point within the group (Clean Utilities, Upstream, Downstream and Standalone/Process Support/Benchtop equipment).
9. Be the liaison in the operating unit with EOHSS team for external audits. Network on EOHSS issues within the business and across operating sites. Ensure any incident learnings are communicated across the business and the wider site network.
10. Support wellbeing of all staff on site in accordance with policies and regulations.
11. Ensure safe working practices are written/documented and followed through.
Requirements:
12. Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or working towards CMIOSH, coupled with 6 – 7 years experience in a relevant role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
13. Have experience as an EHS professional working with process equipment in a biologics, pharma, chemical or food manufacturing facility is desirable (working alongside 24/7 shift teams also desirable – NB: Shift work is not a requirement for the role).
14. Have experience in auditing, preferably experienced with ISO,, standards.
15. Have an in-depth knowledge of the relevant legislation.
16. Have experience of risk assessment, auditing and incident investigation processes.
17. It is essential that the candidate prioritises safety, quality and reliability in every task.
18. Working knowledge of Maximo or equivalent CMMS system.
