Job Title: SHEQ Advisor
Category: Health and Safety, Engineering
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
* Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.
* Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and risk assessments.
* Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented.
* Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees.
* Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration.
* Assist in developing all the required documentation for the SHEQ Management System to be compliant with ISO standards.
The Person:
* NEBOSH OHAS Qualification Certificate minimum held for at least 2 years.
* Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous.
* Exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 45001 or 18001 and ISO 14001 and 9001.
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role.
* Knowledge of Rail works and or Windfarm works would be beneficial but not essential.
