Digital UI Designer
123/RSA are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced UI Designer to join our team to work with several Agile squads.
We are looking for creative thinkers and doers to help meet the challenge of delivering well-crafted intuitive solutions and products that meet the needs of 123 customers.
As a UI Designer, you play a critical role in conceiving and evolving our digital ecosystem. You will create pixel-perfect, development-ready designs, iterate on the fly, and provide UI expertise for a diverse range of challenges. You will provide expert support and guidance to your peers and help remove roadblocks, share expertise & best practices, and help drive optimal results across all agile squads in the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise an existing design system, create new components, and recognise when each path is more appropriate.
* Present your ideas in a coherent, engaging way, and be willing to pivot or defend your designs when necessary.
* Driving a roadmap alongside a product manager and a multidisciplinary agile team.
* Presenting work to executives and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of experience as a UI Designer, UX Designer or Visual Designer
* Expertise in visual and user-centred design practices.
* Capacity to understand business needs and to translate them into design requirements
* Mastery of design tools (primarily Figma).
* Experience producing/contributing to, maintaining and expanding design systems and creating design system documentation for developers
* You love working in a collaborative environment that has a strong focus on teamwork, open minds and having fun.
* Experience with UX design, research and usability testing is an asset, but not essential.
