Red Chair Recruitment are presently looking for a Purchasing & Stock Control Executive for one of our clients, a well-established building supplies company based in Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the purchasing and stock control functions. Responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, building strong rapport with suppliers, and reporting regularly to management on purchasing activities and stock performance. The candidate will also be tasked with monitoring stock levels, processing stock orders, sourcing new products, and ensuring accurate and efficient stock control at all times.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a purchasing or similar role is highly advantageous.
* Strong stock control skills with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
* Confident in negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
* Product knowledge of hardware and building supplies is advantageous.
