Site Manager Job Specification:
Opportunities in both Dublin and Cork
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and will liaise with other members of the construction team to ensure a successful project outcome
It is expected that you have proven experience in site management within the mechanical contracting industry, demonstrating expertise in team leadership, process optimisation, and subcontractor management, with a strong understanding of heating, plumbing and ventilation systems.
You will take full ownership of progress and successful commissioning and handover.
You shall be responsible for managing the complete installation of all building services, taking care that the installation is coordinated with other construction activities, from specification and procurement through to the installation, testing and commissioning of services in a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, hospitality, residential and healthcare buildings.
Ensure quality is maintained through on-site supervision of our works and that Test Certs are submitted Weekly.
You will have oversight of M&E subcontractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achieved.
Review the quality of the work and recommend remedial works instructions when non-compliance occurs.
Generate and respond to RFI's as appropriate.
Maintain As Built Drawings Weekly
Maintain photographic records and sign off.
Submit As Installed Drawings to Office for Drafting Up
Submit Valve Tag List for Printing prior to handover.
Ensure that Commissioning Certs are received and reviewed for all equipment.
Ensure that Handover is notified to Office and Recorded on file.
Be responsible for managing direct employees in terms of quality control, adherence to work schedules, and progress reports together with all procedural company documentation.
Be proactive in eliminating issues as they arise in the most effective manner.
Plan commissioning programmes and witnessing of same.
Be knowledgeable with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with Company standards and programme.
Other ad hoc duties may arise.
