The Job :
As a key part of the operations leadership team & reporting directly to the CFO, your duties will focus on managing the financial operations for 2 manufacturing sites in Ireland, leading & mentoring the 5-person accounts team, and overseeing their ongoing duties.
More specifically, you will have ownership of the month-end & annual close processes, manage the AP & AR functions on both sites, ensure accuracy in financial operations, analyse corporate/business financial processes, provide financial insights & advice to the leadership team, control budgets & lead financial projects.
Your Skills/Experience that we need :
3rd level degree qualified.
Fully qualified accountant.
4-5+ years of industry experience in a finance manager or financial controller role ideally.
Senior accountants with people management experience will also be considered.
Experience gained in a multinational manufacturing environment is a significant advantage.
Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.
Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.
The Offer :
This job is being offered as a 12-month contract with a salary/overall package depending on skills/experience, expected to range up to approx.
85k.
In addition, there will be pension, healthcare entitlement, educational assistance & other benefits on offer.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in the office in Shannon with 2 days working from home/remote.
Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
