This position is based in our new state of the art Head Office in Maynooth - an open plan office, with wonderful collaborative working areas, subsidised canteen, EV charging points, and is easily accessible by car or public transport.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Leadership:
Lead strategic planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, business development, market research, and identification of new business growth opportunities.
Corporate Strategy Development:
Oversee the development and updates of the company's corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and mission.
Develop in-depth integrated strategy and financial plans for ExCo and Board review.
Lead the organisation’s progress on strategic priorities to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives.
Business Development and Market Analysis:
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential corporate partnerships to drive revenue growth.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform financial and strategic decision-making.
Change Management:
Lead change management initiatives associated with large-scale corporate projects and organisational transformations.
Ensure changes are effectively communicated and implemented across the company to promote understanding and engagement at all levels.
Collaboration with Leadership:
Work closely with ExCo and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the successful execution and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Professional Skills:
Proven experience in strategic finance, corporate development, and M&A.
Strong leadership and partnership-building skills, with experience collaborating with public and private sector stakeholders.
Experience in market analysis, financial planning, and corporate strategy.
Knowledge of digital transformation strategies and tools.
Excellent communication and change management skills.
Ability to oversee complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
Proficient in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
