Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst for an upcoming Regulatory Reporting project. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, working with internal and external stakeholders, documenting processes, procedures, and ensuring project deliverables are in line with regulatory reporting standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a critical project and work alongside our dynamic team.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
* Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for regulatory reporting requirements.
* Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation including process flows, data mapping and user guides.
* Perform gap analysis on existing data, reporting processes and regulatory requirements, making recommendations to necessary changes.
* Collaborate closely with Operational, Product, Compliance and Technical teams to solution design and ensure end to end solution meets all reporting and regulatory obligations.
* Support the testing of reporting solutions to ensure functionality and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Working virtually and globally to deliver a consistent service to internal and external stakeholders irrespective of their location or time-zone.
* Provide ongoing support to ensure uptake of solution, data remediation, change management along with troubleshooting or issue resolution as part of the process.
* Contribute to the overall success of the project by identifying and mitigating risks related to the regulatory compliance and reporting process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to regulatory reporting, financial services, or compliance related projects.
* Experience in documenting business requirements, creating process flows, data models, user guides, and gap analysis.
* Proficiency in using Business Analysis tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to understand technical systems and collaborate with technical teams to support solution design and implement business requirements.
* Strong understanding of data models, data governance, and quality standards for reporting solutions.
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
