About the RoleWe are seeking a Utilities/Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team on a contract basis. This role will focus on supporting capital projects, operations, and engineering functions within designated production areas.
Responsibilities
Contribute to project completion, manage your time effectively, and develop plans for short-term work activities.Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure safety and quality across operations and engineering activities.Develop technical and operational standards and provide technical support to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.Build productive relationships with process equipment and technology suppliers.Establish robust processes and systems to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing output.Lead team meetings, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and support operational campaign startups.Continuously optimize plant reliability and minimize lifecycle costs.Conduct RFT Method 1 investigations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
QualificationsMust-Have:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in cGMP industrial settings.Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and experience managing budgets and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have:
Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.Familiarity with site operations.On-site support experience.
