Role Overview
The Enterprise Sales Associate is part of the global Digital GTM organization and teams with Account Executives (AE) to drive new sales revenue. This role has two key functions: driving business in existing, under-penetrated and suspect Enterprise accounts; and sourcing net new opportunities through prospecting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build quotes and proposals
2. Create strategic account plans
3. Run business reviews
4. Work alongside the greater account team
The Enterprise Sales Associate role involves both selling and sourcing deals to drive new business and develop ServiceNow's next generation of sales talent through a structured development and promotional path.
Daily Activities
1. Learn from experienced Sales professionals by supporting large Enterprise accounts
2. Create formal networks with key decision makers
3. Prospect under-penetrated Enterprise accounts and cross-sell new business unit applications
4. Provide 'on demand' sales support to customers
5. Support Customer Success Managers and Renewal Reps to ensure customer satisfaction
6. Be a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business and advising on digital transformation roadmaps
7. Identify specialist/resources to bring into deals at the right time
8. Drive sales process management, opportunity closure, and ongoing account management
9. Invest in personal development through training, coaching, and feedback
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
1. Prior experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients
2. Ran full cycle sales deals for 1-2+ years
3. A willingness to learn and apply complex knowledge
4. The ability to understand the 'bigger picture'
