We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
Main Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and systems within the industrial facility. This role ensures efficient operations, optimal equipment performance, and minimal downtime.
* Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Maintenance Strategy: Create and manage a proactive maintenance program for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Schedule Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance: Plan and schedule maintenance activities to optimize asset reliability and performance.
* Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
* Carry Out Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on all equipment as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system.
* Lead a Team of Maintenance Technicians: Manage, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high levels of technical performance.
* Source Parts and Services: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and services.
* Manage the Maintenance Budget: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Lead the effort to identify opportunities for improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
* Analyze Equipment Performance: Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis to address issues and improve equipment performance.
* Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA and other safety regulations.
* Maintain Records: Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance audits.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with maintenance operations.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and project progress to senior management.
Requirements:
* 5 Years' Experience: 5 years of experience working in a similar role.
* Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades: Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation.
* Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a team of technicians and managing maintenance projects.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Flexibility: Flexibility required for on-call requests.
* Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and organizational skills.
* CMMS: Proficiency in CMMS software.
