Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and overseeing a variety of activities and experiences for our guests. The role involves organising both on-site and off-site events based on guest profiles as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and co-ordinate diverse and engaging activities as well as customize activities based on guest profiles.
2. Communicate with guests ahead of their stays to create itineraries for their visit.
3. Assist in organising daily and special events, including holidays, festivals, and promotions.
4. Collaborate with entertainers and artists for live shows and themed events.
5. Oversee booking and management of equipment, spaces, and resources for activities, including setting up, managing, and breaking down events.
6. Engage with guests to understand their interests and ensure activities meet their needs as well as address their concerns and requests.
7. Coordinate with other departments to offer guests experiences such as yoga or wine tasting as well as the marketing department to promote activities through social media.
8. Ensure safety protocol for all activities are followed while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
9. Conduct risk assessments for activities and ensure activities meet health and safety standards.
10. Monitor guest safety during activities and manage the signing of liability waivers before participating in certain activities.
Skills/Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
2. Working knowledge of HotSoft or similar hotel software an advantage.
3. Valid work permit for a minimum of 12 months is required.
4. Strong communication and customer service skills.
5. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
6. Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
