Job Title: TEAM LEADER RESIDENTIAL/RESPITE

Key Responsibilities:
The Team Leader will assist the Community Services Manager in the delivery of a quality client-focused service and supporting a person-centred planning process. Key responsibilities include:
* To provide leadership to staff on a daily basis in the facilitation and implementation of a Person Centred service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of the clients.
* To supervise and support staff by identifying their training needs and development requirements.
* To ensure the delivery of a quality service by designing, implementing, and reviewing quality monitoring systems appropriate to the requirements of a residential service and relevant legislation and standards.
* To ensure that adequate staff cover is provided and participate in the roster where applicable.
* To provide appropriate support and assistance in all aspects of independent living, in accordance with individual support plans.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a third level graduate in Health & Social Care or a management qualification or working towards the same, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar/related field, preferably in an accommodation-based setting. They will have experience and knowledge of Intellectual Disabilities/Mental Health difficulties and the HIQA process within residential settings, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and logistical skills.
