About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Part 21 Design Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience in a Part 21 Design Organisation, Airline Technical Service departments, or in a Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
As a Part 21 Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of EASA Part 21J Design documents.
Position Responsibilities:
* Ensure that engineering documents comply with all applicable EASA airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
* Produce EASA Part 21 approved design documentation to ensure the airworthiness of produced designs.
* Compile design documentation including accomplishment instructions, engineering drawings, compliance reports, and instructions for continued airworthiness.
* Liaise with Compliance Verification Engineers to support the showing of compliance for applicable airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
* Manage projects related to design changes.
Position Requirements:
* Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Part 21 Design.
* Demonstrate knowledge of applicable EASA aviation regulations and requirements.
* Exhibit problem-solving skills while demonstrating sound judgment and successful stress tolerance.
* Possess effective communication skills and the ability to guide processes to successful delivery.
* Demonstrate advanced skills with standard personal computer software (CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other proprietary software).
* Exhibit excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
Education/Experience Required:
A technical degree (B.Eng, B.Sc) or EASA Part 66 qualification/Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence or equivalent is required.
This is a regular full-time position.
