Job DescriptionDepartment Manager – Flagship Store (Dublin City Centre) Fixed-Term Contract (12 months) – Potential to become permanent Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 Benefits: 20 days holidays, staff discount, pension (TBC)About the RoleOur client, a leading premium retailer, is seeking a Department Manager for their busy flagship store in Dublin city centre.
Working alongside a Store Manager and Deputy Manager, this role covers all departments, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and driving commercial success.This is a fully flexible position requiring availability across weekdays and weekends.Key Responsibilities:Support the management team in creating an exceptional buying experience for customers.Drive and support sales through link-selling, upselling, and strong product knowledge.Awareness and focus on KPIs including sales, ATV (Average Transaction Value), IPT (Items Per Transaction), and conversion rates.Take responsibility for store opening and closing procedures, including keyholding and alarm management.Oversee daily cash management processes from POS reconciliation to cash collection.Maintain high store standards: cleanliness, stock management, merchandising, and replenishment.Accurately check deliveries and ensure appropriate stock handling and paperwork.Ensure compliance with security protocols and Health & Safety standards.Actively contribute to team communication, feedback, and development.About the CultureOur client fosters a positive and dynamic workplace where customer and colleague experience is at the heart of everything they do.
