As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be leading and liaising with dynamic, passionate cross-functional teams, where collaboration as a team is key.
About the Role:
As the Software Engineering Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of software developers, manage sprints, and engage in high-level planning and design. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
* Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
* Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
* Mentoring and/or training entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.
* Managing and encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.
* Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within a specific area of responsibility.
Requirements:
* Experience with proficient coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE.
* Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
* Experience managing Software Engineering teams, including one-on-ones, upskilling, and managing conflict.
* Proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
* Ability to collaborate, support, and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
* Experience designing and working with complex data models.
* Experience with high-level planning and running sprints.
