Project Engineer / Manager - Clean Utilities - Pharma - Carlow, Ireland
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer / Manager to join our team in Carlow, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the development and production of veterinary vaccines.
About the Role:
This role will involve taking charge of multiple projects at our Carlow site, overseeing their entire lifecycle from scope development, design, build/installation, and qualification to handover to operations for key Engineering projects.
* Develop project scope, cost estimates, and delivery schedules in collaboration with the Site Engineering team and system SMEs.
* Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and establish improvement projects within Carlow as the site scales up towards full commercial operation.
* Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in projects, conducting system failure investigations, contributing to investigation reports, executing and developing change control processes, and taking part in events when appropriate.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in the GMP pharmaceutical industry.
* Demonstrated experience in the Utilities area within a manufacturing environment, with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects.
* Equipment experience: e.g., Plant steam boilers, CTUs, freezers, WFI, Clean steam, compressed air, HVAC, fume hoods, BSCs, F-gas regulations.
Skills and Knowledge:
You will also possess:
* Strong skills in writing reports, developing standards, and creating policies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications related to the job.
* A strong commitment to safety and prioritise a safety culture.
The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience.
