About this job
As the Senior Financial Accountant you will have full responsibility for four major entities where you will complete monthly accounts and end-of-year financial statements in line with US GAAP and FRS 102. The four entities vary in their composition with intellectual property, non-US based investments, in-house bank and treasury, manufacturing and FTEs featuring within these entities. You will complete monthly financial reporting as well as income statement, balance sheet preparation and reconciliations along with associated financial analysis. You will continue to develop your forecasting skills with monthly cashflow forecasting required for your entities. You have the autonomy to build upon processes through identifying areas for improvement and implementing ways of working that benefit you, your team and the organisation.

As the Senior Financial Accountant you will work with the Senior Finance Manager as part of a broader 28 person Finance team in a collaborative manner delivering high quality work over a 4.5 day working week. Examples of their future-focused approach include being a carbon neutral site by 2030 and they have a dedicated AI team looking at ways the company can embrace emerging technologies to create efficiencies.
What will help you succeed?
To become the Senior Financial Accountant you will be Big 4 qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years’ industry PQE including experience preparing statutory accounts for large entities.

Our client offers a comprehensive, well rounded remuneration package of between €70,000-€80,000 including base salary, annual bonus based on company and personal performance, up to 8% company pension contributions, a 4.5 day working week with a half day on Fridays to allow you balance your work and life goals.
