Job Title: Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor
A role also referred to as a Cost Consultant or Commercial Manager, this position involves monitoring and managing project finances and contractual relationships within the Dowds Group M&E projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective control of project finances.
A high level of commercial and contractual awareness is required, with the ability to interact with various parties involved in each project.
The Role:
* Preparation and submission of Interim Applications and Final Accounts
* Submission and agreement of Variations, Dayworks, and other changes with the Main Contractor/Client
* Liaising with Contract Managers to procure Sub-Contract packages of work and prepare related documents
* Maintaining progress reports on Works
* Issuing contractual notices and correspondence to Clients, Suppliers, and Sub-Contractors
* Preparing cash flows, monthly cost reports, and budget analyses
* Presenting Commercial Reviews at Project Review meetings
* Reviewing contract documents
