As our team expands, DMC Consultancy is currently seeking a Social Media Assistant to join our growing team. The candidate will work with a number of clients, responsible for implementing social media strategies, from scheduling social updates to producing creative assets for social use. The successful candidate will be proactive in developing regular, fresh creative content for use across social media platforms, and will now also contribute to videography and podcast production, enhancing multimedia content for our clients.
They need to have an understanding of the power of social media and the part it can play within the digital marketing space. The candidate will also need to have first-class attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and experience in video and audio production.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assist in the creation of engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
* Coordinate with colleagues and clients to ensure the best-performing content is being created.
* Assist in the analysis of social media campaigns, monitoring campaign performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
* Oversee all client social media accounts.
* Plan, film, and edit high-quality videos for social media, including promotional content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
* Record and edit podcasts, ensuring high audio quality, consistency, and engaging content for various platforms.
* Collaborate with internal teams to integrate video and audio content into broader marketing strategies.
Skills and Experience: The successful Social Media Assistant should be an avid user of social media and understand how it can be used as a marketing tool for brands. In addition to social media expertise, they should also have:
* Ability to confidently manage social media accounts.
* Experience in videography, including filming and video editing, using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
* Experience in podcast recording and editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar).
* Experience with Adobe Suite and Canva for creative content production.
* Able to produce creative content to engage audiences and widen reach.
* Ability or desire to analyze data to better understand and monitor performance.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Organized nature with the ability to multitask.
* Good attention to detail.
* Experience in using social media management software.
* Experience with Google Adwords (preferred).
* Experience with social media scheduling, video editing, and photo editing software.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Confident and creative with a good imagination.
* Hardworking and results-driven.
* Able to work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative.
* Flexible and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure.
* May be required to assist the website team on occasion.
Additional Requirements:
* Car and driver's license is essential as the location is not accessible via public transport.
* This is an on-site role only.
