As an R2R Accountant for several legal entities, you will work in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) Record to Report (R2R) team. This is a key role in a fast-paced environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements.

The successful candidate will:
Play a key role in the US GAAP month-end & quarter-end close process. This includes ensuring
the monthly and quarterly close process is implemented flawlessly and that the month end close timetable is followed by accounting functions supporting the regional close.
Leverage foreign exchange knowledge to own and implement the month-end revaluation/translation process. This includes understanding the system functionality, and ability to promptly trouble shoot when issues may arise.
Establish and maintain a strong control environment. Expected to gain an in-depth understanding of internal finance policies & Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) procedures, and provide guidance to the wider finance teams on interpretation of same.
Own multiple general accounting areas across a wide variety of financial entities e.g. Accruals, prepayments etc. This may involve preparing and reviewing manual Journal Vouches & Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations. To successfully manage this task, close partnership will need to be developed with business finance teams that are driving the associated costs.
Liaise with other Accountants and Accounting Managers in R2R to ensure that consistent processes are applied across all regions and that there is consistent treatment of corporate finance policies.
Regularly review team processes with a view of continuous improvement & process optimisation.
Assist the R2R team in all external audits, including tax audits from government agencies.
Ensure appropriate systems, processes, tools and business relationships exist to enable effective legal entity controllership and compliance.
Support GBS initiatives and ad-hoc projects as requested
Develop with the role to expand responsibilities within the GBS organisation.
