Do you have previous experience in a factory setting involving the operation of production machinery or working on a production or assembly line? We are currently seeking operators for immediate starts throughout February and March for work in a highly regulated Food Production Facility in Bandon town.
Excellent hourly rate and substantial weekly bonuses available.
You will need a minimum of 6 months previous relevant experience ideally, but some openings may exist for graduates or trainees without industry experience. If successful, you will be working in a fast-paced production facility, which is located in the town center close to all amenities.
Please be advised that working hours may not line up with public transport options, so ideally candidates will be living locally or have their own transport.
Candidates will be open to working in a role that involves responsibility and accountability.
You must have strong attention to detail.
Candidates will need to be physically able to lift and/or stand for long periods.
You should be able to multitask, work to several deadlines at once, and excel at working as part of a team.
Ability to maintain a cool head under pressure is essential.
Candidates will work a shift roster, incorporating days and nights.
Shift times will be 7 am to 7 pm and/or 7 pm to 7 am, with 12-hour shifts, working primarily Monday to Friday.
Out of every four weeks, the schedule will be 3 weeks of 36 hours and 1 week of 48 hours, averaging 39 hours, alternating weekly between days and nights.
Additional performance-related bonuses are available weekly, depending on the team hitting targets.
This can be a gross payment of up to €100 / €180 weekly based on team targets.
The current hourly rate on shift is €15.66.
