We provide direct, frontline services to people aged 60 and over, through support coordination, support and befriending, housing with support, and the application of assistive technology. Role Overview

We currently have a vacancy for an ICT Manager.
The ICT Manager plays a key role in the delivery and operational management of ALONE’s Information and Communications Technology, the development of the ICT Operating model and contributes to the to the achievement of ALONE’s vision and strategic goals.
The role also is key in providing ICT governance & oversight of ALONE technology investment, selection to ensure strategy alignment, delivery of value, and management of performance and risk.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead, manage and develop the ICT team, as well as forging close working relationships with Management across the organisation, including the leadership management team (LMT).
Responsibilities
To input to the organisations strategic plan, contributing IT strategies and solutions to develop cost-effective, efficient systems to achieve ALONE’s strategic goals.
To manage the ALONE strategic ICT direction using business plans as a key input
To engage all technology activities and partnerships in ALONE to ensure all activities are aligned and integrated into ALONES ICT strategy and meets the goals of the organisation.
To design and deliver on ICT projects to enable ALONES Services depts provide innovative solutions for Older People
Envisions, communicates & oversees the selection & deployment of ALONE ICT architecture ensuring that its fits together, is effectively managed & how it is expected to evolve over time.
Be responsible for maintaining our existing CRM and ensuring its development to support the organisation to deliver on our strategic goals.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in ALONE, expanding each team’s capability to reduce costs & leverage improved service provision through effective use of technology.
To be responsible the organization's technological infrastructure requirements by building and maintaining effective relationships with key outsourced Network & telephony vendors
Deliver agreed IT projects on time and within budget.
Managing the IT budget for the organisation under the direction of the Head of Operations.
Lead on IT requirements for new locations, coordinating technical aspects of site installations.
Lead on the development of the supplier relationship programme supporting the management of key ICT service & support partners.
Negotiate with suppliers and other vendors for the company’s technology equipment and supplies, ensuring best price, service and support for the technology used by ALONE.
Work with Training & Development to create a range of training modules on alones IT
To ensure that all members of the organization know how to use technology responsibly.
Manage technical support queries from staff, troubleshooting and clearing where possible & triage support with outsourced IT network provider when needed.
Tracking and reporting on all ICT infrastructure assets including end of life tagging for all ICT assets and audits of ICT assets to assist annual budgeting.
Develop, pilot and introduce new systems and technology to improve efficiency or expand the organisation’s performance.
Manage a small team of staff to deliver the department’s objectives and targets, including organisational action plans.
Build relationships with partners, suppliers and other organisations
Be a key member in the development and growth of IT department
To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested.
Essential Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Third level degree or equivalent in a Technology related area
A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience including staff and team management experience.
Project Management qualification or experience is desirable
Skills and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), document management systems (SharePoint), O365, Cloud PBX, mobile devices
Working knowledge of Service Management (ITIL, ISO20K) and or Quality Management systems (ISO 9001)
Working knowledge of GDPR as it relates to IT
Excellent communications, presentation, training, report writing and problem-solving skills
Ability to build productive and supportive relationships with colleagues at all levels
