Job title: Senior Tax Analyst
Role type: Full time permanent, hybrid role (3 + 2 days model.)

Job Summary:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Global Tax Group team based from our office in Dublin. You will be providing support for regional tax compliance, (UK & Ireland), reporting and planning responsibilities and will assist with regional tax audit examinations by developing defence strategies and maximizing tax saving opportunities, (internal and external audits). This role will contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling tax compliance and reporting obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tax Return Compliance: Coordinate with third-party service providers for the preparation of tax returns. Review tax filings to ensure accurate reporting. Prepare working papers and assist in the compilation of necessary data for tax returns.
2. Tax Audits and Controversies: Assist in answering requests for information from tax government officials to defend tax filing positions effectively. Interact with current and former business groups to coordinate and implement audit strategies. Manage quarterly reporting for December year-end.
3. Financial Reporting and Planning Activities: Review annual tax provision and reconcile tax provision to return for global consolidation. Partner with business units to proactively identify and research tax planning opportunities. Assist in evaluating tax consequences of UK & Ireland Group and legal entity rationalisation. Ensure compliance with US and local GAAP.
4. Regulatory Responsibilities: File Senior Accounting Officer certificate and Corporate Interest Restrictions return. Submit country-by-country notifications. Stay updated on legal developments and industry positions to accurately evaluate options and respond to requests for information. Monitor industry positions relevant to Honeywell's business operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Holds a degree in Business, Finance or Accountancy related subject, with at least one course in UK and / or Irish tax.
2. At least part qualified in CTA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA.
3. Extensive working knowledge of directly related and progressively responsible tax, working in-depth knowledge of UK & Ireland tax rules and regulations for a business or client with a minimum of a €25m turnover.
4. Big Four practice experience and knowledge of US & UK GAAP desirable not essential.
