As a QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our client's products and services. You will lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving best practices and continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in testing and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
* Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
* Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes.
* Conduct testing using Python and Java, ensuring thorough coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Perform SQL database testing to validate data integrity and performance.
* Utilize Jira for test management and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
* Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies.
* Report on QA activities, progress, and key metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Lead or in a similar role.
* Proven experience in testing using Python and Java.
* Strong proficiency in SQL database testing.
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Jenkins.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
