Job Title: Assistant Logistics Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Logistics Manager to join our pharmaceutical service company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Operations Management:
* Coordinate daily logistics operations, including the transportation of pharmaceutical products under GDP compliance.
* Monitor and manage cold chain, ambient, and frozen shipments to ensure proper handling and temperature control at all stages of the supply chain.
* Partner with third-party logistics providers and carriers to maintain efficient and reliable delivery schedules.
2. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
* Ensure all logistics processes align with GDP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
* Monitor and document temperature excursions, deviations, and corrective actions.
* Conduct regular audits of logistics providers and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
3. Inventory and Shipment Management:
* Track shipments in real-time to ensure timely delivery and proper handling.
* Oversee inventory replenishment and distribution schedules to meet customer demands.
* Support the preparation of documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Collaborate with the Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Warehouse teams to streamline processes and resolve issues.
* Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on shipment status and addressing queries promptly.
5. Continuous Improvement:
* Analyse logistics data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
* Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
* Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in cold chain technology, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
6. Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in supply chain or logistics are a plus.
7. Experience:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
* Proven experience in managing cold chain, ambient, and frozen shipments.
8. Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of GDP and other regulatory standards related to pharmaceutical distribution.
* Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
* Knowledge of temperature monitoring systems and tools.
9. Soft Skills:
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
