**This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract Role Purpose As an IT Programme Manager at Musgrave, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex IT programmes that deliver strategic, high-impact change initiatives for the business.
Youll manage a portfolio of diverse projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and project managers to ensure flawless execution from ideation through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities Lead & Deliver Strategic Programmes: Spearhead major IT programmes that drive strategic change, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company priorities.
Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and inspire a diverse group of project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative culture that thrives on excellence, innovation, and results.
Steer Complex Projects: Take ownership of the project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution and benefits tracking, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from senior management to technical teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and buy-in at every stage.
Support Change Management Excellence: Partner with the Change Management Office (CMO) to drive consistent project delivery standards, improve methodologies, and enhance adoption across the business.
Mentor & Develop Talent: Provide guidance and coaching to project managers, helping them grow their skills and align with Musgraves vision for delivering exceptional results.
Strategic Vision & Continuous Improvement: Balance day-to-day execution with strategic oversight, always looking for ways to improve processes, methodologies, and outcomes to support Musgraves growth.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Education: A third-level qualification or equivalent experience in IT, business, or a related field.
Certifications: Project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or Agile certification (e.g., SAFe).
Experience: 8+ years in project and programme management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale IT programmes and exceeding customer expectations.
Methodology Expertise: Strong knowledge and practical experience in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, provide mentorship, and cultivate a collaborative, results-driven culture.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders, technical teams, and customers effectively.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking: A strong strategic mindset, with the ability to balance long-term goals with short-term deliverables.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while addressing complex challenges and driving continuous improvement.
