Applications are sought for Ad Astra Fellow - Assistant Professor in Macromolecular Biophysical Chemistry / Chemical Biophysics within the College of Science.
The College of Science is seeking a faculty colleague who will research at the intersection of the physical and chemical principles governing macromolecular biological systems to study and address interconnected challenges in human, animal, and environmental health.
The appointment will span the UCD Schools of Physics, Biomolecular and Biomedical Science and Chemistry and will contribute to the research themes and to relevant taught programmes within these Schools.
The successful candidate will be an expert in bio-molecular interactions, structural dynamics or mechanobiological processes to explore innovative solutions for complex One Health issues.
Applicants who can also demonstrate overlap with the UCD Strategic research areas of AI and/or sustainability will be especially welcome.

Bar Salary Scale:
€62,855 - €99,533 Per Annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
